One of the largest manufacturers of connecting rods and crankshafts in the industry, Eagle Specialty was officially established in 1992. Ten years prior to 1992, the founders started developing technology and designs, forming a basis for excellent quality Eagle parts and still continue making improvements in design, materials, and manufacturing techniques to make their components stronger, lighter, and more efficient.

For over 20 years already, Eagle Specialty has been focused on manufacture of high-strength products and assemblies for racing engines. Eagle crankshafts were added to the product line a few years after the company was founded and are now among the most demanded company’s products, with over 180 various types available. For perfect surface finish and geometry, all crankshafts are polished on a specially-designed Q-PAC micropolishing equipment.

Though Eagle rods may seem to be similar to the competition on the outside, attention to important details, using stronger materials (for instance, heat treated and tempered steel), and stringent testing make them stand out. The connecting rods developed by Eagle Specialty are severely tested against those produced by the competition and prove to be either of the same quality or even superior. Eagle never skimps on either material quality or manufacturing techniques to make their products cost-effective; they invest enormous resources into design and manufacture process efficiency and use equipment for large-scale production.

In the production process, the computer controlled Sunnen Krossgrinding system is utilized to achieve the right bore size and consistency unrivaled in the industry. All Eagle racing products are built from quality materials to offer superior performance for years. H-beam rods are made using 4340 chromoly steel which is even stronger than required by SAE / AISI specs. A crucial design feature is 2-piece forging of H-beam rods – with such technology, the construction becomes much firmer.
