Product Details

Trailer Hitch by Draw-Tite®. A sturdy hitch from Draw-Tite is engineered and built from the ground up to fit your vehicle perfectly, and allows you to tow safely and easily.

Installation

Trailering puts a strain on your towing vehicle. And it can put a real strain on your nerves if you're not set up right. You need a properly-engineered hitch with the appropriate rating for the weight of your fully-laden trailer. And that hitch includes a receiver, a ball mount and a ball, and an electrical connection for the tail lights. If your trailer is big enough, add in a trailer brake controller and the wiring to it, and perhaps a weight-distributing hitch. All that gear needs to be installed and rigged by someone knowledgeable in trailering. Draw-Tite has a hitch receiver for your vehicle that will allow you to tow the maximum amount permitted by the vehicle manufacturer safely. They also have hitch balls and ball mounts for every class of towing, and a full catalog of other gear that will make your trailering as safe and as easy as possible.

Almost Perfect
Installed on a 2013 Nissan Rogue. The second hole from the rear on the driver's side is slightly offset on the hitch. I believe this may be a manufacturing defect. I was still able to install the hitch, but the offset of the second hole meant I couldn't put in the third bolt (frontmost) because the hole in the hitch was now misaligned. I tried to angle it every way before fully tightening any bolts, but it would not align correctly. I was still able to install the two rearmost bolts on each side, creating a secure connection between the vehicle and the hitch.

Excellent hitch. Installation was easy, directions exact, and 1 hour total time start to finish. Looks good, works great.

Great Product
I needed a trailer hitch for my 2018 Ford Escape and I am very glad that I purchased this one. The instructions provided are very easy to use however I also used a video I found on YouTube. All you have to do is follow the instructions and it is easy (how easy depends how high up you can get the car). I used car ramps and slide underneath on a car creeper. My only issue was with my arthritic hands and I managed to drop some hardware inside the vehicle frame. No sweat, I contacted CARiD and the helpful person there shipped me the parts I lost. The hitch works great and I have already used it. Keep up the good work.

Clean And Straightforward, Very Happy
The installation was fairly straightforward - though the pictures had some overlapping lines that muddied part of it. I had to reuse one of the screw pulls, which was tricky to coordinate, but made the completion that much more of a triumph. The unit itself is definitely a hitch, but only the lowest portion shows and that does not extend below the muffler next to it. Visible from the rear, yes, but not a big deal. My bike rack plugged right in without any issues.

Trailer Hitch
Took a little longer than we thought to receive this hitch. The hitch was a little bent from shipping but after we straighten it everything was good. Went up easy and looks great. Would purchase again.

Good Hitch
It arrived on time, but as others have said, it had broken through the box on one side. Powder coat held up, no major damage. The instructions in the box were wrong, a few details were out of order, and some other steps could have been added for ease of install. Google the model and videos come up that show a better sequence that saved us lots of time. Watch out for the bolts on the car. It has a spot welded nut on them inside the frame. We popped one of the nuts loose, but had a way to shim it with where it was.

Draw-Tite Review - For VW GTI MK6
The product looks and feels solid and very sturdy. It is barely visible and looks OEM. The installation took about 3 hrs and was pretty tricky to fish bolts and spacers through the frame rails. Also, had to persuade it to fit. I think the price/value is excellent. I see this as a very durable piece that will last the life of the car.
