Casting Problem
I was unable to install the coolant housing that fits into the opening of the center of the bracket because of extra casting material on the bracket. I cracked my coolant housing trying to make it fit anyway. I had to special order the coolant housing. Added ten days to my repair. I had to cut material away from the inside of the new bracket to match the old bracket using a Sawzall.

Great Fitment and Operation
I checked around and CARiD had competitive pricing to other online suppliers. The purchase went smoothly-the website is easy to use-and the product was delivered in a timely manner. I also wanted to say that the fan was well-packaged and secure in its box. A cooling fan in the Pontiac Vibe is easy to replace, but this fan had no trouble going in and fits like a glove. Thanks for a nice transaction.
This part works just as well as the one the dealer ship would put on your car. This model is cheaper by about $50 bolts up to stock mounts with no trouble. DIY is the best way to save money if you're able to.

Works But Not A Direct Fit.
Dorman part #620-637. According to Dorman is supposed to be an exact replacement. Same metal thickness, wire gauge, in their words an exact replacement. It looks the same, except for the top mounting holes but doesn't come with rubber mounting grommets and spacers as the original. You can't use the original grommets and spacers without modification, if you leave them out, the mounting bolts areabout3/4" to long and hit the radiator support. They will work if you are experienced All the installation video's on the web show the fan being removed easily, by removing the top mounting bolts and wire harness, then sliding the fan to the passenger side and up and out. But not in my case, had to remove top transmission cooler line and slide the fan to the driver's side to remove the fan, was told by CARiD sales person that the two fans were the same, (driver's/passenger side) they are not. Upon removal of the driver's side fan found it was a Dorman, and was replaced five years ago. Ordered the passenger side fan and it came used/ already installed. supposedly straight from Dorman, as told by CARiD.
