    No Disappointment! Yay!
    The strap looks identical to the original and the steel is the same dimensions. The only difference is the original has a rubber type coating that gives it a softer hand feel than the original. Removal and replacement was easy with only a small screw driver to pop the fastener.

    Door Check
    This replacement door check for the drivers side door, wasn't much stronger than the original one I took out.

    Fits Perfectly.
    I only needed the part of the hinged that was on the door itself. It does fit on the original hinge that is welded to the truck body if that is a concern for anyone. I am happy with this purchase.

    One Works And The Other Makes Pop Sound
    I am very happy with one of the two products. I have not complained about the this product to the sale because I have not swapped the part from the other door. That is the next step in troubleshooting the popping sound. I really don't think it is a product issue, I think it may be a door issue. Not sure at this point. I will let you know if it is product issue. Thanks.

    Quick Shipping Easy Install Check Strap
    Quick shipping, arrived several days earlier than projected. The cost of product was about 10 - 15% higher than compared to similar products. But after returning two other "Door Check Straps" its worth the price to finally get the right one. The first two were ordered in person at a auto-parts retailer and the dealer. Its funny the on-line service got it right, good job CARiD.
