Dorman® - HELP™ Oil Dipstick

The product looks great and was easily installed. Came in really fast.

Product was exactly what was expected.

Finally a proper oil pan that should have came from Ford, difference is it’s aluminum (not plastic like the OEM Ford), embedded gasket (instead of RTV), proper drain plug (I will be adding an EZ drain valve for no mess drain), comes with all new bolts (be sure to use because it’s short then the OEM to properly seat the gasket). Fits perfect no leaks so far, I did add a couple of splices fuel lines over the trans cooler so it doesn’t rub on the oil pan now that it’s metal, acts as a cushion for it. Again props to Dorman for making the product and CARiD for the fast shipping, this is a must have for the 2.7 ecoboost F-150 owners, not many people knows about this which is why I’m making this review, this is going to be a hot item, be sure to follow the instructions that it comes with, I took as much pictures as can to help others, Enjoy!

5yo Murano, pan already rusted through and leaking. Several national chain stores list same part; NSP24A(not Dorman) which has a depth of 2" and is too shallow. It hits the pickup tube before mating with the engine. Dorman pn 264-465 (which i only found because it was recommended by a nissan owning parts store employee) has a depth of 2.4" give or take and mated right up and visually was closer to the original oem pan than the other one I tried. However, it was not easy to find! I got it from carid next day even though it was due 3 to 10 days out and it was a very competitive price, even with shipping. FYI, the dealer wants around $250 for this pan. You can get a high capacity aluminum race pan for less. If you live in New England you may want to put additional rust proofing on the front side since its in the path of snow and road salt in the winter. I am using new stainless fasteners (m6x1.0 roughly 18mm of threads with lock washer) and the bolts are too far apart for a gasket, it may blow out. Use oil resistant rtv also, the original oil plug is better than the one provided.

I wanted a Cadillac oil drain plug and I didn't know how to go about finding the one I needed and I had called after looking up online and spoke with the sales representative named Rachel and she was very very helpful I will be a continued customer with this company because they treated me very well, not like a machine or number something like that was one on one personal and I appreciate all the help I received and I will do all my shopping with y'all.

The oil pan came with the oil plug installed to my surprise. The pan is a perfect replica of the original. The bolt holes lined up for quick installation.

Yes sir, can not ask for more from a drain plug, screws right in, seals.
