These Are for the Trunk Not the Doors.
Just to clarify these are not for any of the passenger doors on this car!

Striker Review
After installing, was unable to open door. Needed thicker washer to align. After alignment door able to open but extremely difficult. Tried several times to adjust but still extremely tight and difficult to open. Gave up and reinstalled old striker.

Dorman 901-119 Door Lock Switch
Exact replacement, actually looks a bit more robust then the factory unit. Delivery took a bit longer then expected but that was probably weather related. Never had a bad product from CARiD but shipping sometimes is a little ouchy. Good experience over all worth it.

Strike One!
I never realized how important these door strikers are on my good old pick-up, until I replaced them! It was a 3 minute job, to remove the old & replace with new. They really keep the door closed tightly and eliminated the rattles. I am very happy, should have done it years ago. The product is solid and I expect they will last another 36 years.

Works After You Switch the Motor Wires
Unit came wired backward. Using either door lock rocker switch or alarm remote if we pushed "lock" this actuator would unlock and if we pushed "unlock" the actuator would lock. The main wiring harness is not good quality and one of the wires pulled out during initial installation. We had to remove the unit after we installed it, cut the old wiring harness off the OEM faulty unit, and reattach it to the new unit reversing the motor wires (I believe it was green and black but I'm not sure). We filed a tech case with Dorman. Additionally, the motor and gears in this are different from the OEM piece. This unit makes a kind of high pitched noise when the door unlocks that sounds "cheap." It also stays actuated for a few seconds after being locked/unlocked which is unlike the OEM equipment. So, if you unlock the lock using the switch and then try to manually push the lock down to lock it, there will be resistance from the motor. Dorman confirmed that this is how some of the aftermarket parts operate. All-in-all: not as good as a Toyota OEM but it seems like it will get the job done. Just plug it in and check it before finishing your installation. Make sure it's wired properly.

Passenger Actuator
So this was my first installation. Was easy once I looked up how to do it on YouTube. My only problem with it is that it doesn't unlock. As for the other actuator was the wrong side.
