The DW Pickup is a powerful pickup truck which was manufactured by Dodge. The D/W nameplate was used for the first generation of the Dodge Ram marketed between 1981 and 1994. The truck was two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive and was available in standard cab, extended cab ("Club"), and crew cab configurations. The number 150 in the name of the model indicated a one-half ton truck, 250 – a three-quarter ton one, and 350 indicated a one-ton truck. The range of motors was quite wide and varied from a 3.69 L Slant-6 I6 capable of 95 hp to a 5.9 L LA V8 rated at 230 hp and a 5.9 L Cummins diesel I6 power plant good for 160 hp. After the 1993 model year, the Dodge DW Pickup was redesigned and renamed.
