Dee Zee® DZ16412 - 6" Brite-Tread™ Brite Nerf Bars

Couldn't find the lower wide boards in Canada, even from DeeZee dealer lol, anyway they are exactly what i needed and expected.

Although I haven’t taken them out of the box I’m sure they’re perfect. I had a three inch body lift installed making it difficult to get in and out, tearing up the seat. It’s in the shop getting new paint and interior and these steps will finish the restoration.

These bars look great and give a solid step. Definitely needed the extra help getting in and out, and these do the trick. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for simple, sturdy nerf bars.

As mention in prior post end caps snap off before even installing! Couple self tapping screws fixes it ! I love the look BUT THE standard step sides from Ford are better quality ! I just wanted black instead of chrome so I will go with these for now !

Absolutely the best. Very strong, easy to install, very well made and nice shipping packaging. This is the 3rd different running board I have put on my truck. The continuous bar one I had was fine just looked boring. The second side step boards with fixed steps looked good, but the steps were in bad locations and absolutely useless. These, however, look even better and the step placement is easily adjusted to functional locations. AND they are aluminum, so rust from rock chips is no longer a concern. Highly recommended.

These are very well made with a very nice black finish. Easy to install and very strong. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is the packaging is terrible. They had no internal packaging to stop them from banging against one another and nicking the paint. The paint was strong so the required touchups were minimal, but it could be easily avoided with better packaging.

These are great. My new 2019 Ram 3500 had none and I decided to get something different than the ordinary oval or round steps. These are a great looking and very functional set of steps. Added benefit, they are fully adjustable! You can move them forward or rearward along the hex tube to customize the location of the Steps. Got the black power coat, these look bad *** on my White Ram. The mounting brackets and nut are my ONLY issue. Hence, 4 stars... The nuts to mount the main bracket to my ram are WAY too soft and basically strip in the nut shaped holes in the frame. Instructions say to torque to 15-20 ft lbs. Back this off to 15lbs, and they just spun (stripping the net in the hex hole). ALMOST sent these back but... I figured out how to reengineer it. Using the 8x1.25 bolt and nuts from Home Depot. Using a 8' zip ties I put this thru the bracket and the hole in the frame, then the nut and flashed the zip tie holding the nut with my finger, carefully removed the zip tie (holding the nut with my finger, threaded the bolt thru and loosely screwed it to the nut. This works perfectly! Probably need to have someone redesign this nutzie thing... TOO SOFT. 5 stars for the looks and functionality, one star knock-off for having to reengineer the Nutzie's. Highly recommend these but be carefiul...

They are study and look great after installed. The end caps on them are of poor quality. All were falling off when they arrived. They had busted at the rivet which was put there to hold them in place. I repaired all the end caps by putting a self-tapping screw through them. They are fine now and I love the way they look. Just think there is some quality issues with the plastic end caps.

Looks good, fit well and a very easy install.

Looks great! The hexagon tube looks very different then the ordinary round tubes that are on most trucks. It adds an aggressive off road appearance.
