Product Details

Multi-Rib Drive Belt by Dayco®. Specially formulated high temperature Polymer along with the highest level of engineered reinforcement proves to perform better in belt operating temperature and efficiency than leading competitors. Its innovative break-through design of deeper cogs on top and rounded cogs on the bottom yield the advantages of ultimate flexibility and longer belt life.

Accessory drive belts wind their way around such components as the power steering pump, water pump, air conditioning compressor, and alternator propelling them when the engine is running. While older vehicles used separate V-belts for each component, newer vehicles have a single serpentine belt to drive them all. Dayco approaches the market differently from most of its competition, believing that one serpentine belt construction will not perform best with all applications. This serpentine belt is designed and manufactured to provide more than just OEM required fit, quality, and performance; it delivers the finest solution to troublesome drive problems by providing excellent durability, stability, and prolonged service life.

Warranty

Dayco Timing Belt/Timing Belt Kit Warranty

All timing belts and timing belt kits supplied by Dayco installed in a Buyer's vehicle and which have been properly installed, maintained, operated and used in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's instructions are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for:

(a) a period of 3 years; or (b) the time period in which the timing belt or timing belt kit has been installed in the vehicle for 100,000km, whichever comes first.

Dayco Warranty

All products and parts supplied by Dayco (except timing belts and timing belt kits) installed in a Buyer's vehicle which have been properly installed, maintained, operated and used in accordance with any instructions provided by Dayco to the Buyer are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for:

(a) a period of 2 years; or

(b) the time period in which the relevant product or part has been installed in the vehicle for 40,000 km, whichever comes first.

Exclusions for Dayco Timing Belt/Timing Belt Kit Warranty and Dayco Warranty

The Dayco Warranty does not apply to any product or parts that were not manufactured by Dayco or one of its related bodies corporate.

Neither the Dayco Warranty nor the Dayco Timing Belt/Timing Belt Kit Warranty applies to any product, part, timing belt or timing belt kit:

(a) if the Buyer does not follow the process set out in clause 6 below (which sets out what the Buyer must do in order to claim under the Dayco Timing Belt/Timing Belt Kit Warranty or Dayco Warranty);

(b) if installation or maintenance of the relevant product, part, timing belt or timing belt kit has been carried out by a person other than a Qualified Mechanic;

(c) if installation or maintenance of the relevant product, part, timing belt or timing belt kit has been carried out other than strictly in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's specifications;

(d) if the relevant defect was caused by the Buyer, or the Buyer's failure to take reasonable steps to prevent the defect;

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Appears to be exact replacement of original belt. Very easy to install. Haven't used long enough to judge life of belt. Appears to be of good quality. Very good price compared to local auto supply.

Great Product

Great product at a unbelievable price on CARiD. Local store price was a lot higher for the same belt. I will always buy Dayco belts from now on because they run very true on the pulleys.

Very Easy Installation

This fit my Dodge Charger. Got all new Dayco parts for the belt, bearings and tensioner, for the price of having a mechanic do it. It's been about the easiest thing I have done on the car.

Excellent Capabilities

These belts are use on new vehicles due to there excellent wear capabilities and quiet service life. If you don't like a squeaky belts then spend a couple more bucks and by Dayco belts.

Perfect Made Product

The Belt arrived when scheduled. The Belt was the correct size. Had no problems changing the belt out. Good value. This belt is the same as the OEM belt that was on the truck when new. Its an American made belt.
