Accessory drive belts wind their way around such components as the power steering pump, water pump, air conditioning compressor, and alternator propelling them when the engine is running. While newer vehicles have a single serpentine belt to drive all accessories, older vehicles use separate V-belts for each component. This Dayco V-belt is especially designed for vehicles that utilize V-belts. Check V-belts for wear, including evidence of cracking, fraying, and glazing.
