D2S® - Fender Set

The look of the product is great. It feels very sturdy and not flimsy like other front lips I have tried. It painted well but required greater than average prep. The product did not come with installation hardware, so the body shop had to improvise, which ended up costing me a heftier labor bill. While it is a good product, its biggest con is the fitment. To be fair, it does fit better (much better) than a previous lip which would not even mount properly. It mounts almost seamlessly at the edges of the bumper and around to the front. However, at the very front center, the pointed tip of the lip curls up and does not make contact with the pointed tip of the bumper's center leaving about a 3/4 inch gap between the lip and bumper. The way it was shipped may have influenced this warping effect as it was bent-over on itself so that the top face of the lip had the convex curve, whereas the bottom face of the lip had the concave curve. 3/5 stars on "Appearance" for fitment. 1/5 stars on"Ease of Installation" for lack of mounting hardware and labor bill. 4/5 stars on "Price/Value" for its affordability. 5/5 stars on "Quality" for its material sturdiness and durability.
