The CURT step pad is an anti-skid surface that gives you a step up when working under the hood of your truck or SUV or climbing into the back of your truck bed. This Limited Warranty is provided only to the original product consumer, and applies only to the original installation. This Limited Warranty is not transferable and does not extend or apply to anyone else. For consumers in the U.S.: this Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights; you also may have other rights, which vary from state to state. This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by CURT, and all other warranties and conditions are excluded and disclaimed.

Each of the warranty coverage periods runs from the date of purchase of the product (proof of purchase is required) and applies only to warranted defects that first occur and are reported to CURT within the applicable warranty period. Certain items are excluded from Limited Warranty coverage by CURT, and this Limited Warranty coverage does not apply to:

Wear and tear from normal use, including damage from road debris
Improper product selection, application, installation or maintenance
Modifications, including the attachment of other hardware or components
Misuse, abuse, overloading, improper trailering or hauling, accident
Corrosion or damage due to environmental conditions

CURT has no responsibility or liability for any incidental or consequential damages, such as loss of use of vehicles or trailers, towing charges, storage charges, tire damage, labor and service charges for removing or reinstalling products, loss of or damage to personal property, or interest or finance charges, all of which are specifically excluded and disclaimed from this Limited Warranty.

Well Made, But Lacks Adjustment Holes

This step pad is not adjustable as currently manufactured. It is extremely well made, including durability, finish and appearance. I had to drill another set of holes so that the step pad could be mounted closer to the vehicle. The original holes made it extend too out from the rear of the vehicle for my application.

Smooth Install

CURT® 31028 - Class 3 Exposed Front Trailer Hitch with 2" Receiver Opening (3500/350 Weight Capacity)

Prefect fit, did it by myself with a floor jack took about an hour. Just needed to file the edge of the bolt head to fit into the oblong frame opening.

Great Hitch - Def Recommend

CURT® - Front Trailer Hitch

I purchased this for my 2001 Chevy silverado. I was able to install alongside my grille guard without any issues. Instructions were easy to follow and bolting this down was tedious but with power tools and a warm environment, can be done quickly. I however, did this in the cold with a ratchet, took about 45 minute’s because I was working around my guard. Fitment was perfect and have had no issues thus far. Been installed since December and all the bolts are still secure. I’ve used the hitch so far to do minor moves with small trailers and with a hitch winch. Def recommend if you’re looking to add a front hitch to your vehicle. Hope this helps someone in the future.

CURT® 31433 - Class 3 Front Trailer Hitch with 2" Receiver Opening (3500/525 Weight Capacity)

Product looks great (same as all Curt products). Installation instructions were accurate and easy to follow. I would recommend this product if you want a front 2 inch hitch for your HR. I have not used it yet but have no reservations about the Curt quality (lifetime warranty).
