This 4-way flat connector is designed to supply power for tail lights, turn signals and brake lights, as well as a ground connection.

The majority of CURT T-connectors require neither splicing nor cutting or taping, however if the length is not appropriate, you can cut the connector to appropriate length and splice it to the tail light wiring.
