CURT bike racks are created to help you transport your favorite bicycles to the place where you are going to put them to the test. They come in a variety of constructions and sizes, allowing you to carry several cycles on your vehicle, so that you could easily take on any mountain track or countryside road. There are the right products to bring any bikes along, including mountain, electric, touring, cyclocross, folding, and various others. They are absolutely indispensable for those cycling enthusiasts who love to take on lone desert canyons and distant forest roads, having to try out several bikes while riding. CURT’s hitch-mounted racks, some of which can also be used as front racks, will help you haul your equipment in a safe and secure way to your place of destination.
Tray-style bike racks from CURT come with cradles ensuring several points of contact. Their ratcheting arms are locked onto the frames, while remaining tightened all through the driving. These arms are operated by special keys acting as theft deterrent. The cradles that they are available with accommodate different types and sizes of cycles. They come with padded insulation protecting the bicycles from any scratches and nicks. CURT Premium racks are engineered to fit hitches which have 2-in. receiver tubes. They can carry a maximum of four or five cycles. Tapered arms allow for transporting bikes of different sizes. Rubber cradles protect the frames, paint, etc. These racks can be tilted away for easier trunk access, and their arms can be folded down for compact storage.
Clamp-on racks are engineered to be clamped onto a ball-mount shank. They can carry up to three cycles having a maximum weight rating of 135 lbs. Their release handles are easy to access and allow for faster installation and removal. The arms can also be folded down when the unit isn’t used. At their backs, there are bright reflectors ensuring greater safety. The products are finished in lasting powder coating and feature rubber cradles that won’t cause scratches.
