Features

The CURT A-series is named for its articulating head design. The hitch head is built on a patented cast yoke that offers a stable, quiet ride, even with large 5th wheel trailers.

This 5th wheel hitch uses a cast yoke with poly-torsion inserts to absorb road shocks and vibration as well as reduce annoying towing noise from the trailer.

This A-Series hitch features a fully articulating torsion head that provides an extremely stable connection, while still being able to move and flex with the articulation of the trailer.

The A-Series 5th wheel hitch comes with alignment pegs on the legs that are easy to attach to the body using convenient mounting bolts.

The A-Series 5th wheel hitch head features high-strength, interlocking cast jaws that fully wrap the kingpin to minimize chucking noise and enhance towing security.

This CURT 5th wheel hitch features a three-position color-coded indicator that indicates the status of the connection so you’ll know when the hitch is coupled, uncoupled, and ready to tow. It’s visible from the cab of the truck, promoting faster and easier coupling.

The CURT A-Series hitch easily mounts into any industry-standard 5th wheel base rails using the included 5th wheel legs.

A25 5th Wheel Hitches Head with OEM Legs by CURT®. Whether you are towing cross-country or hitting the family campground, 5th wheel trailers offer superior comfort, towing, and construction. Combine these amenities with a Curt Inc. 5th wheel hitch and you have the most well-designed, problem-free rig on the road!
The yoke has a set of poly-torsion inserts to suppress shock loads and reduce excessive noise, and the head features high-strength, interlocking jaws to give the trailer stability and the freedom to pivot and swivel as needed.
The legs mount directly into the four-point mounting system, allowing the CURT A25 hitch to be installed quickly and easily. The most unique feature of these legs is their quarter-turn anchoring system. The variable-position anchors allow the 5th wheel hitch head to easily drop into the puck system, and with a quarter-turn, the hitch can be installed or removed as needed. The anchors can also be adjusted to eliminate any chucking noises.
Once installed, the A25 is fast and simple to operate. It features an extra-wide head opening to increase the coupling area for the trailer, and it has a lockable, single-throw handle that self-resets to the ready-to-couple position after uncoupling. To make coupling even easier, it is equipped with a coupling indicator that is visible from the truck cab. The indicator shows the status of the connection and eliminates the need for you to check multiple times while coupling.
To protect the A25 5th wheel hitch against rust, wear and whatever other threats might impede your cross-country tour, it comes with a carbide black powder coat finish and a limited lifetime warranty. also test the A25 for safety in accordance with SAE J2638 standards to ensure reliability for the road ahead.
5th wheel hitches are by far the most trouble-free, easiest to hook up, and sweetest-towing rig on the road. Because the hitch is centered over the rear axle instead of four to six feet behind the axle, crosswinds and pavement irregularities that affect the trailer don’t affect the pickup nearly as much. Much like receiver hitches, 5th wheel hitches use an industry-standard rail system so they can be moved to a different truck, or removed temporarily to use the bed for normal hauling.
