They are compatible with all CURT and competitive 5th wheel trailer hitches and 5th wheel rollers, and their universal design also allows them to accommodate gooseneck adapters and Spyder gooseneck hitches. They mount with sturdy zinc-plated bolts, providing a solid mounting place for a new 5th wheel hitch. To protect 5th wheel base rails from corrosion, scratches and UV damage, coat each one in either a gloss black powder coat or a black carbide powder coat, depending on the model. This gives them the tough skin they need for hauling that RV, flatbed or other heavy-duty trailer and gives you the confidence to tow wherever the horizon leads.

5th wheel hitches are by far the most trouble-free, easiest to hook up, and sweetest-towing rig on the road. Because the hitch is centered over the rear axle instead of four to six feet behind the axle, crosswinds and pavement irregularities that affect the trailer don’t affect the pickup nearly as much. Much like receiver hitches, 5th wheel hitches use an industry-standard rail system so they can be moved to a different truck, or removed temporarily to use the bed for normal hauling.
