Product Details
Universal 5th Wheel Adapter E5 to R5 Roller by CURT®. Adapts the E16 5th wheel head to CURT 5th wheel rollers. Finish: Durable carbide powder coat. The grand lifestyle that goes hand in hand with 5th wheel towing is made perfect in the details. You can talk all you want about whose RV hogs the most road or whose 5th wheel hitch can handle the most tonnage, but when you get down to it, the best hitch and trailer setup in the world can never reach its full potential without the right accessories to back it up. The CURT 5th wheel adapter is designed to allow the CURT E16 5th wheel hitch head (16115 or 16116) to mount on a set of CURT 5th wheel rollers. It easily attaches to the head of your CURT E15 5th wheel hitch and features various mounting holes for simple height adjustment. It can be used with the CURT R16, R20 or R24. This 5th wheel hitch head adapter is constructed from steel and finished with a black carbide powder coat for ultimate rust and chip resistance. It also comes with a five-year warranty for peace of mind.
Installation
5th wheel hitches are by far the most trouble-free, easiest to hook up, and sweetest-towing rig on the road. Because the hitch is centered over the rear axle instead of four to six feet behind the axle, crosswinds and pavement irregularities that affect the trailer don’t affect the pickup nearly as much. Much like receiver hitches, 5th wheel hitches use an industry-standard rail system so they can be moved to a different truck, or removed temporarily to use the bed for normal hauling.
