The Chevy Silverado was unveiled by General Motors in 1998, and this full-size pickup truck remains in production up to these days. This heavy-duty truck was developed in order to replace the long-running C/K pickup and was built on the GMT800 platform by General Motors. The initial generation of the Silverado came powered with a series of Vortec V8 gasoline engines, with the displacement ranging from 4.3L up to 8.1L. The nameplate of this truck is derived from the name of the trim level, which was once used on a series of Chevy C/K trucks to denote a more upscale version of the model.
Over time, some mechanisms of your Silverado wear out, and window components are no exception as they may corrode due to moisture or temperature changes. If you’ve faced an issue opening the window of your truck, find a replacement in our catalog of Chevy Silverado window components. We work with the brands which produce OE-quality parts for your vehicle, but offer them at an affordable price. So, you no longer have to pay more to get parts from the dealer. We carry parts by Dorman and Auto 7, Cardone and Standard, and other well-known automotive brands.
