The Chevrolet Chevy II was a compact car manufactured from 1961 up to 1979 and then from 1985 till 1988. The first generation (1961-1965) Chevy II was a rear-wheel drive car offered in four configurations: two/four-door sedan, two-door hardtop, four-door station wagon and two-door convertible. The latter was marketed only in 1962-1963. The engine options ranged from a 2.5L I4 to 5.36L V8. In 1965, the Chevy II was built as a muscle car fitted with a 5.4L V8 engine producing 300 hp.
