Works Like It Should.
3in. In/out w/offset deep tone and little in cab noise. Just what I was looking for. Why buy any other brand for twice the price. Cherry Bomb is the best bang for your buck then and now hands down.

Everything I Wanted It To Be
I replaced the huge OEM muffler on my 2005 Ford Explorer 4WD XLT 4.0L V6 with this salute. I know I have a V6 so I was not expecting a muffler to magically make it sound like a V8. I did, however, want a little more sound without drone or rasp. The classic red Cherry Bomb glass pack would have been overly aggressive for my taste. This is a straight through flow muffler like the glass pack but the additional stainless steel wool inner wrap with roving fiber does great lowering the sound output. The body is rock solid with excellent welds. At just under 13 pounds, the salute is certainly lighter that the OEM muffler as well. I've very satisfied with this product and it's usage in my particular application. My V6 has a nice now tone at low RPMs and a mildly aggressive tone at high RPM. I would certainly recommend this product and purchase again. Maybe I'l get a 2nd salute to configure a dual outlet exhaust.

Exactly The Sound and Performance I was After !
Old school installation with two 8" 45 degree turn-downs. The rumble is pure without any metal accents (crackling). I've been asked several times, "Whatcha got in there"? Large air in and large air out equals efficient performance. Right away I noticed the transmission was shifting earlier than usual. Hills that would previously cause the truck to kick out of overdrive have disappeared. Acceleration (getting up to highway speed) was a real nice surprise. I find myself backing off much earlier now. Highway MPG has gone from 14-15 to 18. City driving numbers are much lower due to my foot. Quality= 10 Installation= 10 Sound= 10 Performance = 10 Price = 10

Absolutely Love It!!!!!
Installed this on my 96 Kota 3.9l V6 and it sounds great. Not too loud when driving down the rd and it turns heads and some grins and nods of approval. Not the V8 sound but it's about as close as you can get. Highly recommended!!!!!

Booming, Deep Tone!
I didn't want a exhaust that was loud for no reason and ricey. This muffler brought my exhaust to life! It's not too loud, either. You can hear the exhaust burbles at low rmps and has booming, deep tone at high rmps. This is all on a 2.4 I4 Accord coupe with the stock resonator and cat.

Amazing
If anyone is wanting to install this in a "04" Ford Ranger like mine. All I can say is that this exhaust is going to be worth Evey penny spent. From the acceleration to performance is going to give you a pretty noticable boost. And it's quiet enough to keep the neighbors sleeping.

Old Schoolz Car to New Turner Sound
Had to fabricate the header from 2-1/2 in pipe to thr 3 in. and it now works great. Happy with the sound.
