    Electric Fuel Pump (P90076) by Carter®. Electric fuel pumps by Carter are direct-fit OE replacements that are designed to deliver fuel at the exact pressure and flow rate your vehicle requires. In addition to offering OE fit, form, and function, most pumps have vehicle-specific enhancements that ensure longer service life and more reliable performance.

    Electric fuel pumps replaced mechanical fuel pumps when the fuel injection engines, which require much higher pressure capacity than carbureted engines, became the norm. If you are looking for a quality replacement fuel pump, you can rely on Carter to deliver OE form, fit, and reliability. In addition to adherence to OE specifications, the engineers at Carter add a number of improvements to their electric fuel pumps depending on the application, such as overmolded armature for optimum balance, enhanced durability, and reduced fuel turbulence. Besides, the pump may be built using turbine technology that makes it quieter, more tolerant of debris, and thus more durable. This technology also draws less amperage extending body connector lifespan and preventing overloads, and virtually eliminates the pulsation found in the original design.

    Carter Fuel Pump
    I bought this pump after doing a great deal of on-line info searching. I installed it on a 1997 Mercedes. It is very quiet and works exactly as expected.

    Excellent Low Pressure Pump
    This is a good pump that works well on older Vintage cars and off-road vehicles with Weber carbs. It is easy to install and is fairly quiet.

    Good pump
    It works great. Even, smooth, fuel pressure and quiet operation. Great pump. I have dealt with lots of electric fuel pumps over the years and this is one of the simplest and best for the cost.
