In addition to offering OE fit, form, and function, most Oil Pressure Switch have vehicle-specific enhancements that ensure longer service life and more reliable performance.
Electric fuel pumps replaced mechanical fuel pumps when the fuel injection engines, which require much higher pressure capacity than carbureted engines, became the norm.
