Warranty

All body kits and products sold by Carbon Creations are aftermarket products and are intended for off-road or show use only. The brand is not liable for any damages or injury as a result of the use of its products. Due to the material and processes used in production, products will not be a “direct bolt-on.” Carbon Creations products may need prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, and/or other body work. Modifications may include removal of the reinforcement bars, bumpers, turn signals, and other safety equipment on the vehicle. Carbon Creations highly recommends that a professional “custom” shop with fiberglass body kit experience perform the installation. Auto shops experienced in OEM installations may not be experienced in aftermarket fiberglass installations. All products sold by Carbon Creations are for off-road and show purposes only. Due to strict regulations by the Department of Transportation, some of these products are not approved for street/highway use. The brand does not recommend, and in fact discourages, these parts to be used on public streets and highways.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Carbon Creations warrants its branded products to be free from manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials when used for their intended purposes. This limited warranty shall extend for a period of one (1) year against fading and discoloration on the clear coat finish. This warranty is non-transferable. Any part of a Carbon Creations product that is covered by this warranty and that is found in reasonable judgment to be defective in materials or workmanship will be replaced in full at the request of the customer. For example, Carbon Creations will not replace a complete body kit if a single component is found to be defective. The following situations are not covered by warranty: Any Carbon Creations product that has been subject to misuse, neglect, accident; or that has been improperly installed. Any Carbon Creations product that has been modified or altered from its original manufactured state.

Hood and Trunk Fitment Guarantee

Carbon Creations stands behind the fitment of its products. Once your hood is installed, Carbon Creations will fully replace your hood if it does not fall within the following guidelines of the brand’s Fitment Guarantee. Hood does not clear a stock engine. Gaps between the hood and the fenders are more than 1/2″ wide on each side. Hood levels more than 3/8″ higher or lower than the fenders Latch is too long or too short compared to the stock latch, causing the hood not to latch after adjusting. Carbon Creations does not guarantee fitment on vehicles that have been involved in accidents and/or have had body damages or customization. Hood pins are required.

Trunks

Gaps between the trunk and the rear fenders are more than 1/2″ wide on each side. Trunk levels more than 3/8″ higher or lower than the rear fenders. Carbon Creations does not guarantee fitment on vehicles that have been involved in accidents and/or have had body damages or customization.

Nice Wing!

Carbon Creations® - High Wing Style Carbon Fiber Rear Trunk Lid Spoiler

I recently had this item installed on my 2013 ZL1, and all I can say is I wished I had done it sooner! Since purchasing my car several years ago, I kept the stock spoiler b/c I felt other manufacturer's wings looked "cheesy" or "over the top." However, it looks awesome and I have received nothing but "thumbs up" from other car enthusiasts, even Mustang owners! I highly recommend this spoiler!

Question:

Carbon Creations® - ZL1 Style Carbon Fiber Rear Wing Spoiler

Thank you for the option for my question, I need to know specifically how and where this Carbon Creations wing is exactly attached to the lid of my 2012 Camaro trunk lid, in other words where the mounting holes are located on the rear trunk lid ? I have a 2012 ZL1 Camaro with the GM OM wing, it is a true wing that's made of one piece fiberglass with a 3rd brake light already built into it, mounted above the trunk lid at the very rear of the trunk lid, mounted on two 4 inch pedestals with 2 bolts in both of them... My question is this, I'm interested to know if this new Carbon Creations ZL1 wing will install exactly into the same holes that I have in my trunk lid now, and I can just simply swap it out with the one that's there now, with the exception of another new hole in the middle that will have be drilled to fit the new Carbon Creations wing...
