Most of them also have a 3-stage planetary gear, but such winches are weatherproof and have additional mechanisms such as an automatic cone brake structure ensuring quick heat dispersion, a thermometric sensor, etc. Some 12,000-lb models have a waterproof remote with an LED overheating indicator. If you need a hydraulic winch for professional use, Bulldog carries several models suitable for rescue operations; their capacity ranges from 8,000 to 15,000 lb. They have a two-stage planetary gear train along with some other features aimed at safety and convenience.
