Bull Bars

If you want front end protection for your rig but don’t want to hide its great looks behind a massive grille guard, a bull bar is for you. Although bull bars don’t cover the entire front end, their heavy-duty, large diameter tubes do provide robust protection for the lower grille, and center and underside of the front bumper, especially when equipped with a skid plate. Our bull bars can ward off brush, branches and rocks off-road, and provide protection from debris, wayward deer, and even minor collisions on the road, and when equipped with LED off-road lights, illuminate dark trails and country roads.

Although bull bars are primarily for protection, there’s no denying the effect those beefy tubes have on appearance. Bull bars make any truck or SUV look tougher and more rugged, and most are purchased for that reason alone. That’s why we offer such a huge selection of tube diameters and finishes. From 2” and 2.5” diameter tubes that are perfect for small SUVs, to massive 4” and 5.5” round and multi-sided tubes that are right at home on full-size trucks, in brushed or polished stainless steel, chrome plated stainless steel, and powder coated mild steel and aluminum.

Most of our bull bars are available with a skid plate that not only provides additional protection should you misjudge a rock off-road or a curb in a parking lot, but a boost in style as well. Some bull bars are offered with skid plates in a contrasting finish and all generally have uniquely configured cut-outs including the manufacturer’s logo. We also have plenty of bull bars sans skid plate, if that’s the look you prefer, as well as bull bars with removable skid plates. Some brands offer replacement skid plate panels if yours becomes damaged or you want one with a different finish. And just about all bull bars are pre-drilled or have tabs or recesses for mounting off-road lights or LED light bars, and some are available with an integral LED light bar or LED pod lights.

Next to the rugged appearance, protection and useful features, the best thing about our bull bars is that they’re so easy to add to your truck or SUV. All of our bull bars are model specific, and designed to fit particular make, model, and year vehicles. Bull bars mount to the frame, often where the factory tow hooks are mounted, and brackets are included expressly designed to use the mounting holes that already exist on your vehicle, no drilling required. Complete instructions are included to guide you through an installation that takes less than an hour on most vehicles. While some bull bars have provisions for mounting a license plate, others will require moving the plate to another position with one of our relocator mounts or brackets.

If you’re a veteran off-roader, you know the value of having a winch to extricate yourself or a buddy when you get stuck. But having a winch doesn’t have to preclude mounting a bull bar when you use one of our winch mounting systems. With this system a heavy gauge steel winch tray bolts to the frame, providing a sturdy platform for mounting a winch using holes that are pre-drilled to accommodate most winches. A polished stainless steel or black powder coated mild steel bull bar, both of which come pre-drilled for off-road lights, is then bolted to the winch tray. The winch tray can accommodate most 8,000-12,000 lb. winches, it’s rated for line pull up to 16,500 lbs., and in addition to the bull bar, has provisions for mounting a hawse or roller fairlead and tow hooks.
