Buick Special Replacement Engine Parts

The Special was Buick’s addition to its entry-level luxury car lineup in 1951. It turned out to be quite a successful model thanks to its precise steering, distinctive appearance, wide stance and a choice of body styles, which included a two-door sedan, two-door hardtop, four-door station wagon, four-door sedan, and convertible that could comfortably accommodate six passengers. The hardtop became the best-selling Buick Special at that time. Under the hood, there was a dynamic V8 engine that produced 146 hp, accompanied by a three-speed manual transmission. The Special was discounted in 1969 after 18 years of production.

Unlike many vintage vehicles, the Buick Special is a rather user-friendly model, not only because it is easily maintainable, but also because repair parts are not hard to find. If your Special’s engine needs renovation or replacement of worn parts, we are happy to offer you a wide selection of Buick Special replacement engine parts from the industry’s most trusted manufacturers: Bosch, Permatex, Dorman, Royal Purple, Crown, Beck Arnley, and other famous brands. Don’t give up on your Special yet – with the right parts it can operate spotlessly for many years to come.
