A two-door sports coupe that Buick produced from 1963 to 1999 was known as the Riviera. Unlike many other Buick models, the Riviera was not designed to have a large trunk; the combination of small cargo space and two doors instead of five made the Buick Riviera a suitable option for small families. Over three decades of production, the Riviera sustained a lot of changes both under the hood and visually. The later Riviera versions boasted of improved safety characteristics, which included all-disc brakes, as well as driver and passenger airbags.
The Riviera’s engine underwent a lot of transformations too. Originally, the car was equipped with a 325-hp V8 engine, and by the end of its run the Riviera had a V6 supercharged engine that produced 240 hp. Buyers were delighted by the acceleration and handling of the vehicle and fuel consumption of its engine. The motor was built with such precision and finesse that even the oldest Buick Rivieras are still currently in use. If your Buick’s engine needs maintenance or repair, you’ve visited the right place – in our store, you can find any necessary Buick Riviera replacement engine parts, from superchargers and cylinder heads to mounts and filters.
