Founded in 2005 as a spin-out of Tier 1 automotive supplier Johnson Controls, Brandmotion was focused on providing emerging safety, mobility and convenience features for automobiles that on the road. The company still has a strong devotion to solve the biggest problems in vehicle safety, specializing in the design and integration of emerging automotive safety technologies. The Brandmotion’s goal is to see zero deaths a year due to traffic accidents. The only way to reach that goal is to help automotive suppliers leverage and extend their technology into existing vehicles, and at the same time provide their customers with greater freedom of choice in selecting the features and content for their automobiles.
Brandmotion is a recognized brand among aftermarket installers of 12V mobile electronics and was awarded "2016 SEMA PRO Manufacturer of the Year" honors at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. When Hummer wanted to offer unique new zones of customization for one of the worlds most accessorized vehicles, it turned to Brandmotion. Designed as a removable storage device, the SeatPort Utility Pack looked and performed great in the truck and as a backpack. Also, Brandmotion approached with an idea to cross an OEM in-dash Navigation system with a portable navigation device. The answer was a very popular low-cost navigation system for the Ford F-150 that looked like an original equipment option - but could be installed by the consumer in three minutes. Brandmotion is a recognized go-to for leading Fortune 500 firms seeking to offer more customized products and business models.
