Electricfil was created in 1936. During its first 20 years, it was famous for its overmolded electrical wires used for household appliances (irons, food processors, etc.) in France. Bougicord is the after-market parts division of Electrifil. Bougicord ignition wire sets have been produced for over 55 years. Besides being OEM on many Volvo and Saab vehicles, Bougicord offers over 8000 vehicle applications, more than 85% of the European market.
