The patented dual-control heating and regulating coil effectively directs current draw, allowing the glow plug to reach higher temperatures more quickly for faster engine start-up. The regulating coil keeps the heating element within the 1000° – 1100°C optimal temperature range, preventing engine damage due to overvoltage or overheating. Thanks to the Inconel 601 glow tube material, Bosch glow plugs provide exceptional corrosion and vibration resistance for a longer service life.
