    Product Details

Upper Torque Box Reinforcement Plates (TBR002) by BMR Suspension®. Increase stiffness and reinforce the torque boxed in your car with Upper Torque Box Reinforcement Braces from BMR Suspension. The Fox-chassis Mustangs were not known for being super strong. When large amounts of torque are applied to the chassis, the factory torque boxes are known to crack and rip. This causes all kinds of rearend alignment issues, poor performance, and unsafe driving conditions. Designed from heavy-duty DOM steel tubing and CNC-laser cut, CNC-formed steel plate, BMR’s Upper Torque Box Reinforcement Braces are designed to bolt into the Mustang chassis, adding strength to the upper control arm mounts. This means you can put as much power and torque to the wheels as possible, without fear of damaging this critical area of the chassis. BMR’s TBR005 Upper Torque Box Reinforcement Braces (tubular) are designed for street performance, drag race, and handling applications.

    Installation

The torque arms use the rear factory mounting locations with heavy-duty rod ends. Instant center and pinion angle is adjustable using five positions on the torque arm cross member and a CNC machined 4130 Chrome-moly adjuster. Mounting the torque arm to the transmission tunnel mount instead of the transmission tail shaft is ideal for high-horsepower applications. The tunnel mount design removes the load from the transmission, which can damage the transmission. This design puts the heavy loads of high-power cars into the chassis. The torque arm cross member provides an adjustable mounting plate for the torque arm, while adding strength to the floor by reinforcing the transmission tunnel. The torque arm cross member gives you five positions for instant center and pinion angle adjustability.

The heavy-duty Chrome-moly adjuster in the torque arm allows for on-car fine-tuning of pinion angle. The torque arm mounts to the cross member with a 95-durometer polyurethane bushing and a heavy-duty 1/4" laser-cut, CNC-formed steel plate. This transfers power efficiently, without huge increases in NVH. BMR designed its Tunnel Mounted Torque Arms for street performance, drag race, and handling applications. The TA012 is designed for F-bodies with aftermarket exhaust. The torque arm cross member is formed tightly to the body, not only giving you increased room for exhaust, but more ground clearance for lowered vehicles. It incorporates an integrated NHRA-legal driveshaft safety loop into the torque arm cross member, making this the perfect torque are for the street or track.

BMR Tunnel Mount TA011 for 4th Gen Camaro
CARiD was good to me. BMR not sure much. I got the TA011 for stock exhaust with a DSL a few chips in the paint. Not bad, but no stickers, wtf. So long story short I got a stock exhaust but if u changed cats or muffers at all it not gonna work. I got Flowmasters 80 series exhaust no cat test pipe 3in to stock 2 3/4 test pipe going back. So all I can say now is to get the no DSL for stock modded exhausts cause i had to cut off the dsl on mine. Plus the TA013 will hit ur drive shaft on a car like mine fronts way lower then the back. Qa1 coilovers in front stock heavy duty springs in rear cause my 315 nt05 were rubbing hard with the 1 1/4. Drop springs so had to run a strock height spring in the rear plus I got the TA cover for rear diff. It hits my stock sway bar so now. I'm waiting on my BMR sway bar, hope it fits too. Plus just install the adjustable panhard rod too and rear control arms, so come on BMR. $$$ on the way. So hit a brotha up with a sponsor plus I race circle track seekonk Rhode island spec drag. Need and gonna still buy everything u got for the 4th gen Camaros too.
