Product Details

5100 Series Shock and Strut by Bilstein®. Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorbers are designed specifically to help your lifted truck, Jeep or SUV reach its pinnacle in ride performance, while supplying the correct tuning and length for your specific lift.

Gas Pressure Technology. Over time, the mono-tube gas pressure technology developed by Bilstein has established itself as a standard in automotive construction. This technology involves keeping the oil in the absorber under pressure, which prevents it from foaming when temperatures and loads are increasing. As a result, full damping power is retained even when the system is placed under extreme stress, a feature that can be observed in the self-lowering piston.

Mono-tube Upside-Down Technology. The original and best: The original mono-tube gas pressure shock absorbers bore the Bilstein name, and still responsible for producing the best there is. Bilstein’s mono-tube technology is the number-one choice in motorsports and series-production sports cars: no other type gives engineers the same freedom to choose the perfect installation location or position (e.g. Upside-Down technology).

Road-Tested by Bilstein. To achieve that celebrated Bilstein driving experience, Bilstein engineers rely on not only technology that is truly at the cutting edge, but also something that has withstood the test of time: how it feels to the driver. As a result, all of high-performance absorbers, as well as sport suspensions and threaded ride height adjustable kits, undergo a rigorous testing programme. On the Nürburgring and in own test centre at the Papenburg test track, drivers test how balanced the driving characteristics of various vehicles are in a variety of different driving situations. Only when they have passed this programme of tests with distinction are they allowed to bear the Bilstein name. This way, they can guarantee that celebrated Bilstein driving experience.

Front Shock 5100
Arrived on time, easy enough to install. Ride feels better than the old stock electric controlled shocks.

Not for Stock Ride Height
Installed these on a stock ride height 1500 and they are very rough riding, at slow speeds large cracks in the pavement are killer and hit hard enough to rattle the dash, they get better at highway speed. Unless your truck is leveled or lifted go with the 4600 Bilstein.

Awesome Shocks!!
Finally broke down and ordered these and don’t regret it, made my truck ride so much smoother. Had them next day too and didn’t pay for express shipping.

I drive around the Hampton Roads of Virginia aka pot hole roads, off roads and my tax dollars pay for this! Driving on I-64 is smooth! If you looking for quality and a great price I’d recommend the 5100 series. The back of the truck does not bounce up like a untamed horse! Don’t feel bad if your friends or others don’t notice the upgrade. They are probably jealous and drive a keyboard!

Amazing
Some of the best damn shocks I have bought. You can't go wrong with Bilstein 5100 series. Instantly felt the ride difference, it became smoother and improved control.

Easy Install!
These shocks complimented the 5100 Series adjustable struts on my 2013 Ford F150 FX4, didn't even have to remove the tires to put them on!
