Bestop® - Supertop™ Convertible Top

no sagging at all. Exactly what I needed for hunting season. It keeps all my gear dry and gives me way more room in the bed for hauling stuff. I was worried it might be noisy on the highway but it's surprisingly quiet.

I use my truck for work and needed something to keep my tools dry. This top does the job perfectly. Love that you can remove the side windows if you need to haul something tall. Install wasn't hard.

I love this thing. It's super practical. Keeps my camping gear dry and folds down easy when I need to haul something big. Yeah install is a pain, but what truck mod isn't? Once you get past that it's awesome.

Thing is an absolute nightmare to install. Numerous components are shoddy or finicky, the thing is solid enough, but for almost a thousand bucks, def wouldn't order again.

When we ordered our topper we were told it would be specifically made for our truck, Chevy Colorado 2018. We figured that was how it was done, they get orders and make them. We were also told we would receive it within 2-3 weeks, that is with it being made and shipped. That is great, we have a big camping trip coming up Memorial weekend and need it then, we ordered it May 4th. At some point we were told it was on back order and would not be in until June 18th. So we made due for that trip, but our big family trip that we absolutely needed the topper was June 21st. Now we were in a dilemma. Would we get this with this Backorder?? We were very unhappy!! Again we ordered and was told it would be made and shipped in 2 weeks. I understand back orders happen but we order things for a reason. We started thinking of what we could do “in case”, that is adding more money on top of the obscene amount we already spent for this. I had sent many emails with automatic replies back saying the same thing, it will be shipped when it comes in. Long story, we ended up getting the topper the day before our trip. We were very thrilled of course, but we are a little confused by the fact that we were also told and the picture shows that the sides have windows, and we thought there would be windows, but there are not. It is solid flaps. So I still don’t know what to do about that??? My husband wants me to call, but I feel I have already sent too many upset emails at this point so.. They are also not put together when we got it, didn’t expect that, ugh. Thank goodness Hubby is handy and had time to do it before going to work for evening at 5pm, since again we were leaving next day. And thank goodness our marriage is solid cause projects like this could really harm the rockiest of marriages lol.

I love the top, but the 3rd brake light started to build alot of moisture... Had to get another 3rd brake from Bestop itself.

I bought this top for my 2018 Tacoma. There are a few issues with this product from not being water tight to extremely tight fit of the soft cover. However the main problem that I have are the brackets. They are not holding the rail. After driving on the highway for about an hour, I noticed that one end of the rail moved toward the bed. In addition, the rails are sloped, indicating that the brackets are poorly designed.

First off I had a best top 2 times before. Once on a 97 jeep and a 1991 miata. These tops were supreme quality. This super top is dissapointing. The canvas, windows and zippers are the same great quality, but the remainder of items is very lacking. Tirst off after assembly there are daylight corners at the front. There are also daylight holes in the stitching in various places. The metal strips that attach to the bed are weaker than the tension of the top. The clamp cannot go to the very end due to the truck bed design and causes terrible twist and lift from the bed. Needs to be drilled and bolted down. Also know this top does not fit flush with the edges of the bed. The top kinda sits 1 inch from the outside line of the bed. Should be flush like a camper shell. Many pieces were paint scratched in their plastic wrapper due to loose packaging. the third brake light is a complete joke. first off it came cracked being loose in the box as well. Second it's the cheapest Chinese light I have ever seen. Even the package isn't in English. You can't even look it up to find a replacement due to its just some random bolt on light. I'ts very obvious that the brake light is an after thought. It's really just some random light they threw in and said self tapper it in on the back bar. This could be a good product but it really seems like an unfinished product. The daylight through the stitching is just the killer for no quality.

I love the top on my truck. It protects items inside, which there is always something in the bed. The only problem I have is the windows! The flange at the top of the windows is supposed to snap down onto another flange. Lots of time, the top one will not snap onto the bottom one, or as you snap them on, part of it comes off and you can't replace it. It becomes quite frustrating! Also, the bar at the back, above the tailgate has to be on just right, or the tailgate won't shut. Other than dealing with these minor problems, the top looks and works great.

This is the second one I have purchased. Once order for a 2015 Toyota Tacoma and it lasted beyond expectation. I was so impressed with the quality and durability that I purchased a new top for my new 2017 Tacoma. This is a great product. I particularly like its ability to collapse with ease so that large items may be placed in the bed.
