Product Details

Replacement Tailgate Bar by Bestop®. The Tailgate bar allows the tailgate to be opened without disturbing the top. If your tailgate bar is worn or broken, replace it with this unit from Bestop. It's powdercoated for appearance and durability and comes with 2 retainer mounts.

The tailgate bar provides a mount for the rear of the soft top. With the tailgate bar installed, the tailgate can be opened without having to open the rear window. If the tailgate bar is worn or broken, the soft top can't be fastened securely. This replacement tailgate bar is powdercoated for a great appearance and long term durability. It comes with 2 retainer mounts that fasten to the body on either side of the tailgate opening.

Works Well!
We bought this for a 95 Jeep Wrangler and it fit the Jeep itself very well and works well with the top. The doors had a sizable gap, but they had aftermarket doors, so if your doors aren't factory it may not fit perfectly. We have improvised and it works very well now. I elected for overnight shipping and it arrived exactly when it was supposed to.

NX Glide Window Bag - Good Stuff
The product is made of strong materials and quality stitching. Works perfectly with NX Glide windows. I have a 2 door Jeep with a tuffy box so no back seat. I hang the bag from the front seat head rests. It works fine with the exception of the “hump” in the middle bends the back window a little. If you have a backseat and hang it there it would be best. This is the right tool for the job.
