As a result, your ride height is dropped 1, 2, or 3 inches in the front as you choose. Because these torsion keys do it without altering the tension in the torsion bar, you get the aggressive stance without a deterioration in ride quality.
The kit gives you the choice of lowering your truck evenly front and rear, or staggering the front slightly higher to offset any improper downward rake it originally left the factory with. Once installed, the reduced ride height lowers your vehicle’s center of gravity which, in turn, reduces body roll and any tendencies to lean over. The result is more stable handling at any speed and reduced understeer where high mass pushes the front of your vehicle sideways.
