Installation

BBB Industries® - Installation Instruction Alternator

Housing - Mounting threads, surfaces inspected and renewed as necessary. Fan - Straightened or replaced as necessary. Pulley - Renewed or refinished as necessary. Bearings - Replaced throughout. Shaft - Gauged and replaced as necessary. Rotor - Inspected, tested and balanced to OE specifications. Stator - Inspected and tested for rated output. Voltage Regulator - Tested and replaced as necessary. Rectifier - Load tested, replaced as necessary. Insulators, Brushes, Terminal Hardware - Inspected and replaced as necessary. Slip Ring - Gauged and renewed as necessary.

Warranty

BBB Industries warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles. The Warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered.

The warranty is granted to the end-user and applies to products which are purchased, installed, and used for the purposes for which they are originally designed. This warranty covers defects arising under normal use and does not cover malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or incorrect maintenance.

During the Warranty Period, BBB Industries will repair or replace, at no charge, a product that is defective in materials or workmanship. BBB Industries reserves the right to either repair or replace a defective component at its discretion and reserves the right to substitute an equivalent product under the terms of this warranty.

Exactly What I Needed

It works exactly as expected on my ae92 sr5. The previous alternator had a bad voltage regulator and this new one fixed all the issues. I usually prefer to buy OEM parts from the dealership but since it was for a personal vehicle I figured it was worth the risk. And it was. 5/5.
