Product Details

Hitch Plugs by Autogold®. Prevent the theft of your drawbar, hitch cover or any other hitch mounted accessory with this stylish chrome plated hitch lock.

This hitch cover adds a little touch of class to the ugly 2x2 square maw of your hitch receiver when you’re not towing. The plug is 100% stainless steel, and it pins to the hitch receiver with the same pin or locking pin used to retain the actual hitch. The manufacturer’s logo is coined into the brushed stainless steel plate, and then filled with epoxy for durability.

This is a good item to use when you're tired of taking the skin off of your shins by leaving the hitch drawbar and ball in place. Leave 20-30 lbs and a bunch of hard, sharp corners at home when you're more interested in showing off your truck than using it to drag around a trailer.

Leave this cover in place when off-roading or driving around muddy construction sites - or during the winter - to prevent mud, rocks or snow and ice from plugging up the hole in the receiver when not in use.

Jeep Black Laser Etched Trailer Hitch Plug
I was looking for a trailer hitch plug for my 2014 Jeep JK Wrangler Sport and found this really cool looking black laser etched plug with Jeep etched in a stainless steel silver at CARiD at a very reasonable price! Really love the look!

Much Better then the OEM Rubber Plug
My new 2020 Lincoln Nautilus Black Label has every option but the rear seat entertainment system. That means a full tow package which includes a 2" receiver that I'll never use. It came with a square rubber plug, but hey, it's a luxury SUV so I wanted something classy looking to replace it. A quick Google search led me to CARiD and this nifty item. It really dresses up the look from behind with it's high polish stainless Lincoln emblem and gloss black trim. To thwart itchy fingers and prevent corrosion, I secured it with a stainless reciever bolt and nylon nut that I picked up on Amazon. (hint, hint CARiD)

A Great Finishing Touch!
This item looks really nice installed.The Infiniti emblem matches the one on the rear lid and the backplate is highly polished so it is a nice accessory for a QX60.

Disappointed In The Quality Of Finish
Was happy with the appearance when I first removed from the package. However, my fingers found out very quickly about rough and jagged edges. It does look great when installed, just have to be careful handling this item.

Great Product!
Looks good and fits perfectly. Word of warning, it does not come with the metal bar to hold it in place. Must buy it separately.
