The Audi A3 first appeared in Europe in 1996; however, it was not until 2005 when the model reached the American market. A winning combination of an attractive exterior styling and high performance made this five-door hatchback (or ‘Sportback’ as they call it in Audi) a real favorite. Nowadays the vehicle is powered by a 1.8L I4 turbocharged engine connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission and comes with FWD (standard) or 4WD (optional). The car has a top speed of about 129 mph; it won widespread praise for its handling, which is steady and precise.
The car’s engine can be heard; the movement of its wheels can be seen. Contrary to that, normal operation of the driveline usually comes unnoticed; when its numerous components work properly, torque is transferred from the engine to the wheels with as little sound as possible. It is when there is something wrong with a driveshaft, axle, differential or some other part of the driveline that you can hear weird noises or even feel vibrations; handling is no longer smooth and you’re unable to reach a high speed. To prevent malfunctions from happening and save your money, check the condition of your car regularly; if it needs repair, only parts from reliable brands can be trusted for their superior quality. Our store offers you the Audi A3 driveline & axles parts produced by renowned manufacturers such as Pronto, Timken, Cardone, Beck Arnley and Centric. You will be pleased with our moderate prices.
