    Features

    • Direct OEM replacement
    • Compatible with OEM/APR Intercooler, OEM Throttle body and all OEM turbochargers
    • APR EZ-Flow design
    • APR’s EZ-Flow stepped design provides maximum flow for maximum performance through a smooth, port matched transition from hose to connection surface
    • Multi-ply silicone outer construction
    • Pressure tested far beyond the engine’s capabilities, the system maintains performance under extreme conditions and increases both heat and burst resistance as well as mating surface adhesion compared to rubber
    • Fluorosilicone interior surface
    • A Fluorosilicone coating on the interior surface greatly resists oil and gasoline permeation providing an extra layer of protection against deterioration of the hoses
    • Clampco T-bolt clamps
    • Made from stainless steel, the Clampco T-bolt clamps replace the factory worm-gear clamps with thick, high quality and high strength T-bolt clamps designed to diminish the risk of boost leaks with increased connection strength and decreased hose slippage
    • Additional quality control
    • APR take quality seriously. Each hose is fully tested before it leaves our doors to ensure fitment and our EZ-Flow design is perfectly matched

    Product Details

High Flow Fuel Injector Kit by APR®. The factory injectors found in the Audi S3, Audi TTS, VW Golf ED30, VW Golf ED35, VW Golf Pirelli, VW Golf R & VW Scirocco R, Seat Leon Cupra & Seat Leon Cupra R K04 based vehicle are the largest Bosch HDEV 1 gasoline direct injection injectors currently available for the VAG 2.0T FSI EA113 engine platform. Capable of supporting over 500 HP in extreme applications, these gasoline direct injection injectors feature the proper spray pattern designed to support reliable operation in all normal conditions. These injectors are approximately 13% larger than the standard injectors supplied on K03 based vehicles and are required for any APR 2.0T FSI K04 customer sourcing injectors for the kit.

In the early 2000’s, VAG began supplying engines with a new direct injection technology known as FSI. Unlike conventional engines of the past, fuel is sprayed directly into the cylinders under extreme pressure resulting in increased power with lower consumption rates and fewer emissions. The technology has spread across VAG’s entire lineup of modern gasoline engines and is present in the 2.5 TFSI. The engine’s fueling system operates to a maximum of 2,100 psi (145 bar) of pressure to correctly spray and atomize fuel directly into the engine’s cylinders. This is contrast to multi port injection vehicles of the past which typically operated around 40-60 PSI and were driven off of a low pressure fuel pump. To generate these enormous pressures, the 2.5 TFSI’s variable low pressure fuel pump supplies fuel to a cam driven and solenoid fired high pressure fuel pump which in turn supplies the injectors with fuel. A three-lobe cam located on the exhaust camshaft drives the 2.5 TFSI’s Hitachi Generation III high pressure fuel pump. As engine speed increases, so does the pump’s ability to displace a greater volume of fuel per minute. The maximum volume the pump can deliver per revolution on the three-lobe cam is dictated by the stroke length from the cam lobe’s lift and bore diameter of the pump’s internal pressurizing cylinder. It’s important to understand, despite the name, APR’s High Pressure Fuel Pump upgrade is not necessarily designed to increase the engine’s fuel rail pressure. The primary goal is to increase the volume of available fuel. The engine’s fueling system is very capable without modification, even at high power levels generated using APR’s Stage II+ ECU Upgrade and exhaust. However, APR’s Stage III Turbocharger System is capable of generating significantly more power and requires modification to high pressure fuel pump to keep up with fueling demands. The APR High Pressure Fuel Pump addresses fueling needs and leaves plenty of headroom for safety and further increased power levels in the future. By increasing the pump’s internal capacity, the fueling system is capable of displacing a higher volume of fuel per minute at every RPM.
