Universal Super Duty Topper Tapes by API®. 6 per Case. Dimensions: Length: 50'; Wide: 2"; Thickness: 3/16". Finish: Black. Super Duty Topper Tape is a Great New alternative for installing truck caps and tonneau covers. This tape provides an excellent combination of flexibility and conformability with strength and wear resistance. Formulated from durable Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) for long service life, the closed cell structure completely seals out moisture, air and dust when compressed at least 30%. Super Duty Topper Tape insulates against vibration; it is resistant to ultraviolet light, most chemicals, acids and bases. This tape is truly "Super Duty"! It is 2-1/2" times tougher than the common tape used to install truck caps.
Super Duty Topper Tape features a high bond adhesive. This adhesive handles a wide range of temperatures without deterioration. The solvent-based adhesive provides a superior bond in hot humid weather. Whereas, common tape, whose water-based adhesive may dissolve and develop "walk-out" or "slide-out" conditions. Super Duty Topper Tape bonds securely to paint (powder or wet), mill finished aluminum as well as fiberglass surfaces.
