Product Details

Black Powder Coated Stainless Steel Horizontal Tubular Bumper Grille by APG®, 1-Piece. Installation type: overlay (bolt-on). 1 Bar. Vehicle-specific design ensures perfect fit. This tubular grille is made of stainless steel and comes with mirror-like finish. The installation is just a snap, tubular grille is bolted onto your existing grille with the help of hidden brackets or clamps which come with the grille as a hardware kit.

Grille is a major part of the car's styling because it is located right at the front and therefore is one of the first components to start defining the image of your vehicle. Mirror-polished T-304 stainless steel grille will give the look that enhances the entire style of your vehicle. Chevy Equinox 2010-2013, Chrome X Main Grille
Product looked beautiful at the beginning. Unfortunately years later the product that was supposed to be rustproof, rusted. CARiD replaced the first one as it rusted within the first year. 2nd one rusted after one year and CARiD refused to replace it or refund. What's the point in paying this much money for a rustproof product that apparently does rust. Fine print should just say only guaranteed to be rustproof during the first year, after that you're on your own. Bottom line: Rustproof should be the product doesn't rust no matter how long you have it. Don't buy this if your looking for something that won't rust or perhaps I was the unlucky one that got 2 out 2 that rusted. Manufactured by APG, there are a few other companies that manufacturer this product, perhaps they may be better but not sure.

APG Chrome Mesh Grille
The shipping was quick and it was securely packaged, but rough handling put a slight bend to grille, which was easily fixed and the only difficulty in installation is the tight fit between the back of the grille and the radiator. I've ordered a couple of Equinox grills and this is the best looking yet.

Mtg studs could be better located to facilitate the installation. A couple of studs were broken off in shipping, but mounted solid anyway.

Fit
Grille did not fit properly. It fits nice side-to side but not top to bottom. The top is tight and there is a 1/4 inch gap on the bottom. You can't slide the grill down any further to center it up because the fasteners on the bottom hit on the lower pan and prevent it. If the female threaded ferrules on the bottom were welded on 1/8 to 3/13" higher, one may able to center the grille up. Also, the grille had to be slightly bent/curved to match the contour of the front bumper.
