SRT Style Functional Ram Air Hood (DCG08AHSRTFHW) by Amerihood®. Functional custom hood is perfect replacement for the ordinary factory hood. Direct cold intake air to work with performance air intake system by major manufacturers such as AirRaid and K&N. Amerihood utilized factory hinges and striker for easier installation, smooth gel coat finish on top and underside for easy prep and shorten work time for that perfect finish. Installation typically requires sanding, trimming, and filling prior to painting, thus, professional installation is recommended.

Warranty

All parts purchased by the customer must be post cured and pre-fitted to the vehicle to be inspected before painting, such paint work is the sole responsibility of the customer and person painting the part.

Amerihood warrants to the original purchaser that their products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (90) days from the date of purchase. Please keep the original packaging for at least (90) days.

This warranty does not include painting and Amerihood does not warrant for product damage caused by abuse, misuse, shipping, accident, normal wear, incorrect installation by a non-qualified individual, incorrect modification or adjustment, dirt, contaminants or corrosion. Minor scuffs or non-consequential surface blemishes may be present as a result of the post-curing, manufacturing, shipping and handling process cannot be considered as defective.

All warranty claims must be accompanied by a dated, legitimate proof of purchase from Amerihood or one of its authorized dealers. Warranty claims for Amerihood merchandise purchased from an Amerihood dealer or distributor must be submitted to that dealer or distributor in accordance to their policies and procedures. It will be up to Amerihood to replace, credit or repair said defective part.

In the event of a defect in material or workmanship, Amerihood shall not be responsible for (a) actual or alleged installation labor, transportation or other incidental charges; (b) actual or alleged consequential or other damages incurred by use of Amerihood products; (c) injury or any damages arising directly or indirectly from any defects in its goods, defective or otherwise. You have specific legal rights with this warranty and may also have special rights that vary from state to state.

Carbon fiber hoods ARE NOT covered, sold as is due to complicity nature of the product.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Fantastic Product

This is an extremely well built hood, all the lines are sharp and line up beautifully. Packaging was impressive to say the least, it had molded plastic bubble stuff tied onto the front, sides and even on the legs that are bolted onto the hood. All the hardware was included and taped up so nothing could get lost in shipping. These guys clearly take great pride in their work and want it to be safe.

Great Hood

The hood came in perfect condition. It's a high quality hood with a smooth finish on both sides. When I put the hood on I was surprised how nice it fit, almost perfect. Defiinitely worth the cost.
