    Product Details

    SMS Style Functional Ram Air Hood (CCM10AHSMSFHW) by Amerihood®. The first rise nearest to fender is approximately 2". Functional heat extractor hood is a perfect replacement for the ordinary factory hood. Model after factory ZL1 model features four heat extraction vents helps accelerate hot air escape the engine bay. Amerihood utilized factory hinges and striker for easier installation, smooth gel coat finish on top and underside for easy prep and shorten work time for that perfect finish. Installation typically requires sanding, trimming, and filling prior to painting, thus, professional installation is recommended.

    Perfect Fit on My 2010 Camaro
    I purchased this hood for my 2010 Chevy Camaro and I have to say I am so glad I did. It looks absolutely amazing on my car. I received it this Wednesday, 9/19/2018, about 2 weeks after ordering. Would have had it a week sooner if not for hurricane Florance. Luckily I work at a car dealership and was able to get one of my service techs to helps me install the hood onto the car. Very easy installation only very minor adjustments to the hood latch to get it to close completely. Hood just needs very minor fine tuning on placement, which the paint shop I am taking it to shortly said they can do. Pretty much a perfect fit on my Camaro. Gives my car a more aggressive look and the fact that it is a functional ram air hood will help to improve performance some as well. Can't wait to have it painted!!!

    All Around Looks Very Nice, Just Got It Today!
    Looks pretty good and in good shape! Just got mine in today so can not wait to get started on it Not company’s fault but when it had arrived the delivery guy had pretty much tossed it out of the back of the truck and had landed on the road but by looks looks like the packaging had saved it

    Worth Every Penny!
    My 2024 F-150 went from looking stock to straight-up aggressive. now my truck looks like something out of a Fast & Furious movie. This thing looks sick, feels solid and actually helps with cooling. Didn't have to fight with the fitment at all which is rare for aftermarket hoods.
