The very first Alfa Romeo Giulia (Type 105) was a family automobile launched by the Italian carmaker back in 1962. Available in two body configurations, a sedan and station wagon, this rear-wheel-drive vehicle became one of the first mass-production four-door models which combined quite a powerful engine and lightweight chassis. The mass of this car was just 2,205 lbs; under the hood, the auto was outfitted with a light-alloy inline-four 1.3-liter or 1.6-liter engine with twin overhead camshafts. The latter was more popular, and despite such a small displacement, it was able to accelerate the car from 0 to 60 mph in 12 seconds, a decent result for the time. The second Giulia debuted in 2015, but this high-performance luxury sedan deserves its own article.
The driveline is responsible for a proper transfer of torque from the gearbox to the wheels. This mechanism is crucial for safety, so it's important to reveal and replace the worn-out driveline components in a timely manner. The first Giulia was discontinued over 30 years ago, so it can be difficult to find adequate replacement components. However, we have managed to gather many of them, and in our online selection of Alfa Romeo Giulia driveline & axles, you will find CV joints, wheel bearings, rubber boots, and other parts at an attractive price.
