SCORCHER™ Tuner by aFe®. A simple 5 minute install gains you a huge increase in power. The aFe Power SCORCHER Module is designed to alter the pressure sensor signals to increase boost to an optimum level throughout the entire RPM range. The result is increased performance and improved throttle response across a broad power band as well as reduced turbo lag.
Modern computer controlled vehicles are wonders of engineering, able to instantly change variables like fuel delivery and ignition timing in response to changing operating conditions. But when you modify such vehicles with cold air intake systems or performance exhaust systems, you may wonder if the engine's really making all the power it's capable of. You won't have to guess with the aFe Scorcher Tuner and aFe Power mods. The Scorcher is fully integrated to provide tuning that takes advantage of aFe cold air intake systems, exhaust systems, throttle body spacers and manifolds.

With the Scorcher you can tune your engine for maximum power, for towing, for economy, even for different gasoline octane ratings. You can adjust top speed and rev limiters, change transmission shift points, and reset speedometer calibrations for tire and gear changes. The Scorcher can even be used as a diagnostic tool. It's able to read and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes and monitor and record sensor values and computer data.
The Scorcher is easy to use. Just plug it into your vehicle's OBD-II data port (usually located under the dash on the driver's side of the vehicle) with the included cable and follow the on-screen prompts. You can keep your Scorcher current with the latest tunes via updates downloaded from the internet. The software can be downloaded from the aFe Power web site, so with the click of a mouse your programmer can have the latest calibrations.
