Product Details
Wideband UEGO Air Fuel Ratio Sensor Bung by AEM Performance Electronics®. AEM's stainless-steel tall wideband UEGO sensor bungs are designed specifically for use on forced induction applications using the 4-Channel Wideband UEGO Controller, but can be used for wideband sensors on any vehicle and with any AEM wideband UEGO AFR controller. The tall design of the bung keeps the sensor body cool and reduces restriction by minimizing the intrusion of the sensor tip into the exhaust piping, and the finned design enhances cooling.
To provide accurate AFR readings, the UEGO sensor must be mounted so the sensor tip is exposed to exhaust gas, yet at the same time not interfere with exhaust flow that could be detrimental to performance. These stainless steel manifold bungs are designed to be welded in place. They’re specifically designed for individual port applications and to allow the UEGO sensors to provide accurate AFR readings with minimal flow intrusion. The finned, standoff design functions to both cool the sensor body and minimize restriction in the exhaust port.
