Product Details
Oxygen Sensor Mount (30-2355-300) by AEM Performance Electronics®. This component enables an oxygen sensor to be mounted in the exhaust without having to weld a sensor bung onto the pipe. A hole is drilled in the exhaust and then the graphite gasket with stainless steel cleat punched foil support and stainless steel clamp band is installed with the included high carbon steel hardware. The clamp band has a fitting where the sensor is installed.
An AEM Wideband Controller or gauge is useless unless the O2 sensor is installed in the exhaust system. If you don’t want to weld on a sensor bung or don’t have welding equipment, this No-Weld Oxygen Sensor Mount is for you. It installs easily with a drill and hand tools on a straight section of exhaust pipe at least 18” downstream from the exhaust port or turbocharger exhaust housing, and before catalytic converters and/or auxiliary air pumps.
The mount kit includes a graphite gasket with stainless steel cleat punched foil support that is heat resistant to 2500°F. The clamp band with threaded sensor mount is constructed of 304 stainless steel and secured to the pipe with tough high carbon steel hardware. On a well-designed turbocharger exhaust system, the exhaust backpressure after the turbo will be less than 3 psi. But to ensure the No-Weld sensor mount is leak-free, AEM has tested it to over 50 psi with no leaks.
