The Pre-Filter is engineered to protect the filter under most driving conditions. Every Pre-Filter is treated with a proprietary water repellent to prevent splashes of water or mud from saturating the filter. The Pre-Filter is also your first line of defense when driving in harsh, dusty environments. The Pre-Filter traps small dirt particles, keeping much of the dirt from reaching the filter, thereby extending the length of time between necessary filter cleanings. Each AEM Intakes Pre-Filter is embossed with the AEM Intakes logo, and Pre-Filters are available for most Dryflow filters.
