The Acura EL became the top seller as soon as the first model rolled off the plant and in 2001, the model was totally redesigned, introducing a more performing powertrain and an updated body shape, with a gorgeous hood and appealing headlights. In 2005, the Acura EL was dropped, replaced by the CSX in 2006.
