ACP started as a manufacturer of private label parts for a number of American companies. In a decade, the ACP brand along with its products became available directly on the vintage marketplace. Since that time, the company has built a strong reputation among car owners for quality parts that are exact in dimensions and operate like the original. The success of the company’s products comes down to the production processes that are controlled precisely to ensure the highest possible quality.

Every ACP’s production process starts with the purest raw material to guarantee the quality and durability of the final product. Following its core values of reliability and functionality, the company has never stopped improving its existing products along with developing the new ones. Among the latest offerings of the company is a pop-open gas cap for the 1967 and 1968 Mustang GTs that offer a correct look. The unit is chromed and features a brushed center with the GT logo.

I ordered the wrong size :(
I accidentally ordered the 25 gallon tank fuel sending unit instead of the 33 gallon tank unit. Unfortunately I installed it before I realized my mistake, I am pretty sure I can not return something that was installed already. That was my mistake, as far as the quality of the product, it seems very good and would be awesome for someone with a 25 gallon tank.

Fuel Sending Unit
No problem with the service, service was good. New screws that fasten the sending unit to the fuel tank are not the right size. Sending unit does not register the correct amount of fuel left in the tank. As best I can tell when the Gauge is clear over on (E) empty as far as it can go, I have measured the gas in the tank with a wood carpenters ruler and it looks like there is about 2 to 2 1/2 inches of gas in the tank. So while the gas Gauge is not CORRECT I am satisfied to know that when the Gauge is on (E) empty I still have about 2 or 2 1/2 inches of gas in the tank and it is time to Fill UP. This is better than nothing or no gauge at all. Thanks for the follow up. PS. The correct size screws are 8/32.
